About Martin Tuckett
- I am registered Mental Health Nurse with over 30 years working within the N.H.S as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner.- I now work as an independent practitioner offering holistic personalized assessments and treatment tailored to meet the individual needs of each person.
My training, work experience and any achievement
- I have had extensive training and practice with C.B.T. approach both within a group setting and also with individuals.- I have had training and worked in a Systemic Family Therapy clinic, and use a Solution Focused Therapy approach for my clients.
- I also have a good knowledge base re medication and how this might be helpful in conjunction with "talking therapies".

Consultation Terms- Initial Consultation (Free)
- Individual Therapy (£40 per session, 50 minutes)
- Couple Therapy (£60 per session, 50 minutes)
- Payment by Card, Cheque or Cash at the time of the consultation.
- Special rates for N.H.S staff, contact for details.
- Hours of Contact 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Evenings by negotiation.

Cancelled Appointments
- If you did not attend without notice, a full charge will be due.
- For appointments cancelled on the same day a charge of £30 will apply, although this can be negotiated.
- For appointments cancelled and rebooked within 7 days, no cancellation fee will apply.
I also facilitate A small therapeutic group focusing on how our emotions effect our eating habits. It will be practical based around the theory of Cognitve Behavioural Therapy, and some Mindfulness ideas. It will not be appropriate to use the group for personal private issues, which could be addressed through individual sessions.
